Great Expectation Luncheon 2026

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the North Place “Great Expectations” Benefit Luncheon on Saturday, May 16, such a meaningful and successful event.

Thank you to all of our wonderful table hosts, every person who attended, and each donor who gave so generously in support of this mission. Your kindness, encouragement, and generosity will directly impact the lives of the young moms and babies who call North Place home.

Because of your support, proceeds from the luncheon will help provide safe housing, compassionate care, and vital resources for these young families as they build brighter futures.

Thank you for believing in the ministry of North Place and for standing beside these mothers and children with love and hope. 💜

Great Expectations Luncheon planned for May 18

Mark your calendars to attend our annual benefit at the Grand Pointe Conference Center. The event will be a great time of fellowship including lunch, a fashion show and silent auction. You will be blessed to hear from one of our residents about the exciting things God is doing in her life.

We are looking for table hostesses for the luncheon. Please email susiemeredith@northpbc.org if you can sponsor a table.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the North Parkersburg Baptist Church office.

Full House

North Place is full with three wonderful ladies. We are expecting babies in May, July and August. Besides our residents at the house, North Place is also helping women who need our support but are unable to stay at the house. Along with providing material items, one particular lady was invited to church and accepted Christ into her heart.

Baby #18

Baby #18 has arrived! Parker was born happy and healthy! Both mother and baby are doing well. After recovery, they moved into their own apartment. Please continue to pray that God will bless them abundantly.

"North Place absolutely saved my life! It allowed me to focus on bettering myself and my life as well as work towards personal goals so that I could be better prepared for when I delivered my baby. North Place gave me a second chance when I felt like I had no where else to go. I was so blessed to have a great spiritual support system and be able to work on my relationship with God as well. I will forever be grateful for my time at North Place. When I thought I was alone, North Place was there for me with open arms,” said Chelsea, baby Parker’s mom.
